Fluffy (Male) - 8 Year old, Venice, FL
Fluffy earned his name legitimately...he fluffed into a 35 pound bichon! But now he is on a healthy diet and starting to shed some of those excess pounds...like many of us in the new year...and with all the extra cuddles he is getting in rescue, he has hardly noticed the difference in his diet. Oh if it were only that easy for all of us! Fluffy has already lost 8 pounds, and is going to need a little bit more time in rescue to hit his stride, but he is open to all applications!
Paige (Female) - 13 Year old, South Windsor, CT
This senior girl is no couch potato. Paige would enjoy a relatively active owner as she loves, loves, loves her daily walks and looks forward to going to the dog park to play with her doggie pals a few times a week. She is quiet and sweet, and would do great with someone who is home a lot or with a family. She gets along with the other dog in her foster mom's house, but we don't know if she has been around cats. Paige is housetrained and scheduled for her dental cleaning early in May. And more good news, her vet tells us there is no evidence of cataracts! She is patiently waiting for her perfect forever home. Will that be yours?
Piney (Male) - 9 Months old, Lorton, VA
Meet Piney, a 10 lb. Cavachon puppy. Besides being absolutely adorable, Piney is a sweet boy who adores affection and always wants to be by your side. He is also smart and responds well to positive reinforcement. As a typical puppy he is very active, loving to play and chase around the house and garden. Piney is up to date on all vaccinations and was recently neutered and microchipped. He is great with other dogs and people over 12. Piney is making good progress in his housetraining lessons. He will require a dedicated adopter with the time, patience, and experience to work with his separation anxiety. Who can resist this cute little pumpkin?
Coco and Sassy (Female) - 7 Year old, Deltona, FL
Sassy and Coco are a bonded pair who will do best as the only pets in a home with a family who can spend a good deal of time with them. Sassy's personality is very sassy! She loves deeply and wants to sleep on or around her person, and likes to run the show! Coco is mild mannered, affectionate, cuddly, and goes with the flow. The girls have been working hard on their house training but need a fenced yard, or a family who likes to walk and has patience. Sassy and Coco absolutely LOVE the dog park and are very social there also. Can you spare room for these 2 lovies?
Daphne (Female) - 10 Year old, Centreville, VA
Daphne is a happy, sweet and extremely affectionate little girl. She loves her other bichon siblings and the large black lab and golden doodle who she shares a foster home with. Daphne is super happy going on walks and car rides. Daphne will finish all her vetting by April 22nd and will be ready for her new home! Daphne will do best with a family who is home with her a lot and can just let her have some wonderful cuddle time. She will need to be on prescription dog food for the remainder of her life to make sure she stays as healthy and happy as she is today.
